Secondary Tuition

Tutor teaching a little girl at a desk

The first few years of senior school are an important time and help build a strong foundation for what will amount to potentially seven further years at school. Establishing a positive learning foundation can be supported by the help of a tutor and mentor.

Many of the pupils we work with across these year groups, first started tuition in Year 5 in preparation for their 11+ exams. By continuing to have the support of a tutor, pupils settle more quickly at their new school and the pressure of understanding new topics is eased. Their organisation skills are more advanced, and this also assists with managing the increasing homework tasks, new subjects and navigation of senior school.
