Sophy qualified as a primary teacher in 2007 and has over 15 years’ experience in supporting pupils from Year 2 onwards. She has also tutored pupils 1-1, both online and in-person, for several years and this has included 11+ preparation.
Having previously worked as a SENCo for a number of years, Sophy has great understanding for the variety of learning styles pupils can apply both at school and whilst working with a tutor. Through her work as a content writer for a large online publisher of learning resources, Sophy has in-depth knowledge of the national curriculum and building her own study materials. Alongside tutoring, Sophy is also teaching in a primary school part-time.
