As an educator specialising in history and geography, I help students achieve objectives that will help them succeed in the next stage of their lives in an engaging and creative way. As a current postgraduate student and a lifelong learner, I appreciate the challenges young people face while trying to achieve their learning goals, be that passing an exam or studying for their GCSEs.
Having worked with secondary school-aged learners for more than three years, I have gained a familiarity with both the GCSE humanities syllabus, exam question formats and the most up-to-date revision techniques for a variety of different learners. Over that time, I have helped students achieve success despite environmental factors such as learning during lockdown.
My experience gives me the opportunity to apply my patient, understanding and outcome-driven approach to different educational settings and helping students achieve objectives that change their lives. Whether that's building their understanding and therefore confidence, or by helping them raise their GCSE grade to gain admission to the college of their choice.
‘My role as a tutor is not simply to fill students' heads with knowledge, but to inspire a love of learning and light a fire of intellectual curiosity for years to come. As a tutor, my paramount objective is delivering demonstrable outcomes for students whilst ensuring they are more motivated in their studies now and as future independent learners.’
